What does KeyFlow not do yet?
Last updated Aug 25, 2026
A short list of what KeyFlow does not do. Each one is a real gap, not a bug, so you find out here rather than mid-transaction.
Client replies do not land anywhere
Texting a client sends a message, not a two-way conversation. There is no inbox and no thread; a reply she sends back is not something you will find in KeyFlow, apart from two keyword exceptions read automatically to manage consent.
If you need her answer, ask her to call, email, or reply the way you already do outside KeyFlow.
Texting only ever means SMS
Every text goes out as SMS over a registered ten-digit long code, never a richer channel. No read receipt, no reaction, no media beyond what SMS itself carries. Plan around SMS, not a placeholder for something richer.
Closing anniversaries track buyers only
The anniversary list on your dashboard is built from Sold deals where you represented the buyer. A seller-side sale, however recent, never generates an anniversary entry. Track a seller anniversary the way you would any other reminder outside KeyFlow: a calendar entry, a task, or a note on the client record.
Older sold deals do not show up when you link one to income or an expense
The transaction picker inside Add Income and Add Expense only offers deals from the active window: Prospect, Active, and Contract deals, plus the current year's Sold and Terminated ones. A Sold deal from a prior year has already moved into its own archived bucket, so it will not appear in that list, even though it still exists and still shows its full history on its own page.
Note the deal by name in that entry's own free-text field instead.
Only one person can move workspace ownership
Handing a workspace to someone else, a new owner taking over your book of business entirely, is not something you can do yourself from inside KeyFlow. It runs through a single gated operation on our side rather than a self-service control. Reach out if you need a transfer, and we will do it for you.
Email templates cannot carry an attachment
A template built in the template editor holds a subject and a body only. No attachment field. A one-off message from a transaction's email composer can carry an attachment, but a saved template cannot bundle one automatically. Attach the file at send time instead.
