What changes when I am in transaction coordinator mode?

Last updated Aug 25, 2026

Transaction coordinator mode hides two pages, Income and Expenses, because both track an agent's personal take-home rather than anything about the file itself. Everything else, transactions, clients, closing paths, templates, works exactly the same whether the mode is on or off.

Before you start

  • This mode is a personal toggle in your own Settings, not a permission someone else sets for you, and not something your account's role forces on you permanently.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings, then Profile.
  2. Check or uncheck Enable Transaction Coordinator Mode. It defaults on if you chose the transaction coordinator role when you first set up your account, but it is a setting you can change independently afterward, in either direction, regardless of that role.

What you should see

With the mode on: Income and Expenses disappear from the main navigation, and the dashboard's Finances card is not shown. Opening either page directly by its address still redirects you back to the dashboard instead of loading it. With the mode off, both are back, and the dashboard totals your year the same way they always did.

When it doesn't work

  • You are a transaction coordinator and want to see the Income or Expenses page anyway. Turn the toggle off in Settings. It hides them for anyone with it on, agent or coordinator alike; it is not a role restriction you need special permission to bypass.
  • You expected income and expense tracking to appear somewhere else while the mode is on. It does not move; those two pages are simply unavailable while the toggle is on. "Record a business expense" and "Record income that is not tied to a transaction" cover what each page tracks once the mode is off.
